As title says it would be nice if you guys added euro as currency for premium products.

Why? many of us are from Europe and we have to always convert our balance either from USD or GBP to euro and conversion fees on PayPal are ludicrous when you also include the tax that are charging you when you receive money.

Actual facts:
When we sell something on here for $25 we only get about 15 euro from that.

My understanding of this is that if we did add more currencies it would move the conversion fees over from being paid by the resource creators to the resource buyers. Instead of charging a different currency and making the customer pay conversion fees, what's the downside to just increase the price of your resource to account for the fees?

Fee paid by buyer is still smaller then conversion fee and we could price resources cheaper

Maybe allow sellers to accept multiple forms of currency at the same time?

just make it optional because if I were selling something, I sure as hell don't want to receive like Mexican pesos lol

Hello,
I would like to have EUR currency because most of my customers are from Europe and I prefer them to pay in EUR instead of USD.
Exactly like I'm doing in Spigot.

Thanks

If they add Euros, other people from other countries will beg for their own currency to be added. Therefor, I think that we should stick to maybe 2 currencies... I’d keep USD, remove GBP and replace it with euros as it will serve more country and the paypal fee being lower for euro/gbp conversion.
Just ass same currencies as Spigot, why not?
Spigot is working good with these currencies..

I don't see what's difficult in adding this feature, maybe because I have 0% knowledge on how Xenforo-PayPal integration works, but I can't believe it isn't just a setting in their backend

I'll move this to pending. As far as I'm aware this is a pretty simple change for us to make and won't require any custom development.

At the moment I'm thinking we should just add EUR as a payment option, so we'd only have USD/GBP/EUR.

Do you think that's good, or do you think there's more that we should add? I think that those three would work well enough and don't want to add in another 20 like AUD etc, but would love to know your thoughts.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I’m also against adding another twenty, but not an insignificant portion of our users are located in Australia, and I do want to allow them the option to reduce unnecessary conversion fees involved in their transactions. I’m in favor of adding GBP, EUR and AUD.

This has already been implemented, we just never got around to marking this suggestion as accepted.

Thank you very much for the suggestion! I'll move the thread now.
