Add-on to prevent Rating farmers

I was thinking that we could get an add-on made for the website that would allow moderators/admins to easily catch rating farmers. The add-on would track users rating other users and if it caught one user rating another user about 30 times in 30 minutes, then it would ban/tempban or warn a moderator/admin of these abnormal activities. There also should be a limit per hour to help keep the system secure. This amount for these 2 variables should be kept hidden and secretly from the public, as otherwise they could try abusing the system.

yeah and then remove my and montyburly's rate bans since we'll be banned with this new system if we abuse it and that will prove that we never abused it in the first place like we have said all along and like no proof has ever been provided of

edit: also i think we should be unbanned from the shoutbox and i should be made moderator of that

I would just make it where if the plugin detected a player was 'cheating' the ratings. Just secretly remove the ratings when the player logs off next.

That way they think they were l33t hax0rsz, and avoids the whole "hey where'd my totally legit ratings go!?" or multi-accounting because their main one got banned.


Just let it automatically do it's thing, if the player complains just be like "Weird, must be a bug with your acct, I'll have it looked into."

I never really cared.
I've been using this site for a decently long time and my ratings are way lower than people that started browsing just a few months ago.

Vouchs count... It makes people trust you

Yeah I know theres a difference between a kiddie with 1 positive rating and someone with 800,000.
I just didn't think it was that big of a deal lol
