Add "Semi-OG" section or clearly disallow it.

Okay, so it's been not even 2 hours since the account section was added back, and I'm already getting whiplash for a Semi-OG I posted. Now, I want to ask that they add a "Semi-OG" section, or CLEARLY disallow them.

We all can remember the struggle of when people would post a really stupid account in OG Accounts, but realistically it's only going to happen more since there is no "Semi-OG" section.

Now, on to the real point:
I was reading through the announcement and came across this rule:

9.5 If we don't have a section for the type of account you're trying to sell, we most likely don't allow it.

Now, there isn't a Semi-OG section, but saying "most likely" is not definite, and "OG" is really subjective. Now, reasonably we can all assume that "xXJimmyiscool1254Xx" is not OG, but something with "Y" or "ing" is really on the borderline. Some may consider it OG, and others may not. Personally for me it depends on the word.

So, either add a "Semi-OG" section, or clearly state that selling Semi-OG accounts is not allowed.

I want Semi-OGs to be allowed.

Agreed. When I helped come up with account sections, I didn't consider semis as I thought they could be merged with the OG section.

However, a semi-OG section would be nice to separate them as people clearly don't like them mixed judging by the replies to your threads. I'd have to write up guidelines for what constitutes as a semi though because we don't want people trying to sell regular accounts by calling them semis.

Some semis are good but yeah anything worth $5 and under I don't think should be allowed xD as it's super obvious that they were sniped on an unmigrated and they're practically worthless

I personally would allow them all so long as they can be verified as secure.

Well, for a while, I was a dealer of unmigrated/cracked accounts offsite. I had a customer base of around 25 or so. I have a few private methods that have worked for me in securing accounts. I've shared them with Doge awhile back, but I wouldn't share them publicly as they would be patched quickly.

Don't worry there is nothing that you know that everyone else that is smart doesn't know. That's still not really a way to verify that an account is secure though.

I get your point. Most checks you can do are reasonable enough to verify a $3 account thought.

The thing is that OG and Semi OG accounts are completely subjective. Lots of conflict can arise, personally I think they should be allowed under the OG Accounts sub-forum.

I'd be fine with that too, but make it more clear so you don't have the account mini mods coming to trash your thread.

There could possibly be prefixes that are decided by the user. I trust that a user with an account over 3 months old would not "troll" and would do their part. Prefixes are an efficient way of filtering threads while not splitting traffic and it won't cause conflicts.
