I looked in the rules but I may be blind, but I think charge backs without a valid reason should result in a user being banned. There's a major difference between the author giving a refund and the user buying your resource then charging back without a valid reason. I think it's just disrespectful and unethical to charge back after you bought a resource as you most likely have already downloaded it.

I'm not saying ban users for refunds, because a refund involves two people, the seller and also the buyer. If they both agreed, then there's nothing wrong with it. I'm more-so talking about someone purchasing a resource, downloading, then charging back.

Charging back after purchasing and receiving a product, without the author's permission is scamming.
If someone does this to you, and you're unable to resolve it between the two of you, please file a scam report on the user.
Since it occurred over resources, will have significant logs to back up the situation.

That is true. But, shouldn't there be a rule added so people realize that this is scamming? I mean, it's common sense not to, but there's always someone that will be the odd one out of the pack.

It's entirely the same as if you were to do the deal manually, they send the money and you manually send the product. They can't charge back after that point.
If we really have to write a rule for it for resources, then we might as well make it for all products/services on MC-Market; however, personally, I don't believe it's necessary. Anyone who can't follow common logic of "Don't scam people" shouldn't be on this site anyways.

Yes, agreed, but an extra wouldn't harm someone, well it would to a scammer. But, some people don't believe charging back on a resource is a scam. There is a lot of people on here that don't follow the "Don't scam people" rule that are on the site. I mean, look in the scam reports section, it's massive. The rule would only be an extra, I'm not sure of the word for it, but the scammer cannot come back and say "Well, it's not directly in the rules?". It's more-so an extra rule for M6 to go off of and ban someone.

If you were to write a rule to say "Don't scam someone" in a way that would apply to all deals on site, in every circumstance, and be clear, how would that rule be phrased?
