Not bait. It is literally how I ended up trying to start a server. Been doing it all by myself so far. I want it to be a big server, and well known one day. He just gave me the idea. Like I said, it gives me something to do. I have been learning about all kinds of things as far as servers, and plugins go. Thanks for replying though.
If you want a big server, that'll require a lot of $$$ :shrug:
Well no payments. Sorry. I don't have money. As far as requirements, just to know how to use the plugins I have, and know how to manage, or set up words for Factions, and minigames. I can continue to do it all myself if I have to. I love the learning. I have one person to admin with me. He doesn't really know plugins and stuff. We can try to make it work with just the two of us, but not likely to happen. So just looking for people who would want to help out, just because they are nice and want to. I am sure once we grow bigger, and start getting regular donations and subs I can start to pay people to help. Those who start on the ground floor with me will have a better opportunity to be the first to be offered pay when that happens. If enough is generated through that. As for everything else, I don't have a website yet, I have discord and a MynxieCraft server on there. As far as the server itself, it is not up yet. It is in development. I hope I answered your questions, though they were a bit rude.
Mm, sorry, no. You aren't going to find many people here willing to help for free. Not to mention you can't even properly run/advertise a server without money.
Right now the only money I am paying is for the hosting, and a plugin here and there that is worth it. Once we grow enough to earn through donations and subs, I will start to pay the staff that started with me. If it doesn't get big. That is fine too. I will just downgrade on the server host.
But you won't grow if you don't have any money?
I think what people here are trying to say is,
Starting a server/network is a decent investment and takes a few experienced people to run it smoothly. You will not just be handed donations etc and grow unless you invest a bit of money into the advertising, setups, etc. Especially since you are new as you said and it is your first time.
I suggest you try just having a singular server for a singular gamemode and learn yourself from there on a cheap host. Then if it turns out well you can try employing a staff team etc and turn it into an actual network. You are thinking to big with not enough experience or money as it would seem from you saying so thus far. There are not enough people that can commit that much time to run a whole network for you and be unpaid sad to say.

Upon reading the thread I noticed a few things, however before I go into any of that I'd just like to say, if what you do state is true about being a mother, I must give you props for your dedication to your son, and your willingness to try new things for his (and of course, your own) sake.
With that said, let's point a few things out -
1) When it comes to a server, funding is key (though, in some senses, you can get away with less funding than 'normal'). That being said for a network along the lines that you're suggesting, you'll need substantial income to throw into the server, for things such as advertising, developers, quality management, and so forth. If you do not have substantial (100's to 1000's) to put into a network, I highly recommend focusing your goal on releasing ONE game-mode and focusing on that.
Not saying that to discourage you in any way, it's just a helpful tip. It's much 'easier' to create a quality single game-mode experience than it is a network, especially with limited skill in the field.
2) The thread is sloppy. This isn't particularly a bad thing, but if you're looking for serious individuals, I'd make it a much cleaner design than what it is now. Include information such as what staff would be doing (in respective ranks), how you plan to drive the network to success, current status for the server, and more information about the server itself. Of course, working this all into a clean format would work wonders to, if you need help with setting up a proper layout I'm open to helping you, just start a conversation.
I won't really go into everything I've seen, as I don't want to come off as rude. I've truly just stated anything I believe could help you in the long-run, and if anything comes off as rude, please let me know - I'll happily tweak it, being rude was not my intent. Overall, regardless of whatever situation you are in as far as the server goes, I do wish you luck.
I'd also like to mention, if it comes to you truly needing quality staff to assist you, and you can't find other individuals, I'd be willing to consider working with you for a length of time upon further discussion. I do not often offer to assist brand-new startups, and I tend to veer away from it for my own sake in terms of my time, however a discussion wouldn't hurt. If you're interested, please do reach out via DM, I'll be happy to discuss.

No, I think you came across as thoughtful and sincere. I don't plan on having a network of different servers per say. I have one server with Multiverse, and added a few worlds in which to do all of these things. I may cut it down to just a few things for now, though. I have Skyblock up and running, was working on my Minigames world next. The way I have it, I don't really need many people. I will never throw that much money into this, even if I had it to do it. I might leave it at those two things for now, with a regular Survival open world with PVP, and leave it at that for a while. I appreciate your offer. I have decided not to ask on here anymore as most people are rude. You were very nice about it, and I appreciate that. You can feel free to talk to me anytime that I am on Discord. After reading these responses I think I won't try to go as big as I was hoping. I will still pay the $30 a month for the server hosting package I have though. Maybe it will do okay. Still don't mind talking with you on Discord just so you can learn that I wasn't lying about my son, and my being disabled. I didn't realize this was a pay for services site when I put up the thread. I will probably delete it, and look for people who like doing these things for free. This is the first time I have ever heard of people getting paid to admin, or moderate. Hello Im an experienced moderator of minecraft and other games servers. Very sorry to hear about you being disabled it must be ruff I love moderating for servers and im willing to do it for free but I am in college so i wont be on 24/7 i can be on for around 3 hours a day but if thats ok reply
