Adobe Premiere Export Settings

Need someone with lots of knowledge on Adobe Premiere + YouTube to give me exact presets for my export settings in Adobe Premiere. Basically I put footage of my game clips (captured at 1080p60 with ElGato Capture Card) which are high quality into Adobe Premiere, do my editing, and after I export the quality is hugely diminished - and then even more after uploading to YouTube.

I've already tried 5+ YouTube tutorials and a few forum websites, so willing to pay whoever solves this $20+, DM me your discord and link to your YouTube channel/videos you have edited.

higher bitrate = good;
higher resolution = GOOD asf (I recommend 1440p);

first of all, there's a few things you need to take care off.

Youtube's bit rate : View attachment 397785

Elgato by default captures it on :

Elgato Game Capture HD has a maximum quality of 30Mbps for 1080p video.
Elgato Game Capture HD60 has a maximum quality of 40Mbps for 1080p video.
Elgato Game Capture HD60 S has a maximum quality of 40Mbps for 1080p video.
Elgato Game Capture HD60 Pro has a maximum quality of 60Mbps for 1080p video

I am unaware of which one you use.

Before you start exporting or editing, go into Nvidia's experience driver download :

replace the game driver with the studio driver.

So let's say the lowest one , 60fps - 30Mbps

Export settings I use ( I've edited at least 300+ videos , for at least a collective 500 Million+ views , trust me on these )

So the issue with your video quality getting crappy is the bit rate you're encoding at. Youtube compresses it yes for sure , but then the difference is night and day between the file stored on your computer and youtube.

I have added you on discord, accept friend request. Appreciate the response but even with these settings the quality is still diminished after uploading to YouTube, as well as a tiny bit after Adobe export.

YouTube's video API compresses videos to the smallest size without completely destroying the video, making videos look like they were recorded in 360p and upscaled to 1080p. Unfortunately this is not a new experience for new channels on YouTube, and those that have really good quality are those who have quite a large following on YouTube.

TL;DR the bigger you are on YouTube, the higher quality YouTube allows to broadcast your videos.
