[DISCORD] Redempt#0001
About Me
Hey! I'm Redempt. I'm a college sophomore studying Computer Science, and have a lot of coding experience. I first began coding at age 8, have been working with Java for almost 6 years, and have been working with Minecraft plugins for 4 years. Now, I'm here to offer my services to all of you.
Why Me?
Many of my customers come to me with horror stories about the developers they've worked with in the past. They're generally the cheapest developers who won't give you high-quality plugins. I won't be the cheapest developer, but I care strongly about the quality of my work, and put a heavy focus on efficiency and scalability to ensure that my plugins can handle a server of any size, and will last you a long time without issues once completed.
Portfolio
Most of my projects are not open-source, but I believe these demonstrate my experience:

Pricing
I charge $20/hour for plugin development. I have created tools that help me develop plugins much faster and to a higher quality, so prices will not be very high. If you want me to be a dedicated developer for your server, a different payment method/rate can be negotiated. Here are some examples of what prices may look like for various plugins:
Tiny - $5
These are plugins which do something very small but specific. You can't find another plugin for it online, so you just ask me to do it for you quickly. It takes under 15 minutes to complete.
Small - $15-25
These are plugins which are relatively small, but have depth and still need to be polished. It may add a simple GUI, a cool feature, or some utility. It takes about 45 minutes to an hour to complete.
Medium - $45-60
These are plugins that need to be feature-rich and polished. They provide something unique and new for your server, and are what you would typically think of when someone says "custom plugin." The features are not especially complex, but add a lot of value to your server. It takes between 2 and 3 hours to complete.
Large - $130-200
These are plugins which create a defining feature for your server. They add things which are complex, original, and maybe a little bit mind-blowing. It takes between 6 and 10 hours to complete.
Gamemode - $300+
These plugins form the core of an entire gamemode on your server. They are vastly complex, and require a lot of work. They can vary in scale drastically, though, so instead of defining a maximum amount of time needed to create one, I will say that it takes a minimum of about 15 hours of work.
Exceptions
One thing I am frequently asked to do is edit pre-existing custom plugins. While I will sometimes do this kind of work, it is tedious digging through someone else's code. I will charge extra for these projects, and in some instances may flat-out refuse. If I believe the plugin you are asking me to edit is too poorly-written, I may suggest rewriting entirely it if I think it would be cheaper for you.
Support
After commissioning a plugin from me, I will support it for a year. This includes:
- Updates to Spigot or Minecraft which break it and must be fixed for it to function
- Bugs which were discovered after the completion of the plugin
- Very minor edits
However, this support must not total more than 1/2 hour of work, or there may be additional costs.

ToS
By commissioning me, you agree to the terms below:
1. I have the right to deny service, including edits, for any reason. I will not deny service to projects which have already begun other than cases outlined in point 6.
2. 50% payment is required upfront, along with proof of payment. Exceptions are made only for trusted individuals, and new customers may be required to pay in full upfront. Before being given the final product, you must pay in full. If you don't, I retain the right to withhold the product indefinitely until payment is completed.
3. I retain rights to the project after its completion. You have the right to use the product, but you may not distribute for the purpose of profit it or claim it as your own work. You may edit it or have it edited or maintained by other devs as you please. I will not distribute the completed work or its source without your permission.
4. There isn't necessarily a limit to revisions, but they must be reasonable. Reasonable revisions are ones which do not require a significant amount of time (10 minutes or more) to be implemented. If you request a revision or multiple revisions that total more than 10 minutes of work, you may have to pay additional charges accordingly.
5. After completion of the project, it will be maintained for up to one year to ensure that it continues to function properly. Any minor bugs you find or compatibilities you need may be fixed within this period. If the time spent during said maintenance totals to more than 30 minutes, there may be additional charges. After the maintenance period of 1 year, maintenance may, but will not necessarily, be offered with or without additional fees.
6. Though this is very unlikely, I may choose to halt the commission at any time. If this happens, you may be given a partial or full refund depending on the progress of the project and may request the incomplete product and/or its source.
7. No refunds will be given once the work has begun, with the one exception above. If you terminate the commission, the upfront payment will be used to cover the work that had been done up to that point. If you were exempted from upfront payment initially, you may still be required to cover it. If the project was near completion, more payment may still be required.
8. I make use of personal projects and libraries for all commissions. These projects are open-source and licensed under the MIT License. Any additions I make to said projects are not counted as work done for you, and I retain full rights to them.
