So I have a plugin idea that may or may not be possible.
Basically the plugin would trick a client with a block. For example a chest block but only certain clients can see it as a chest and any other clients would see it as for example dirt. I was just wondering if anybody has any thoughts on this or if it's even possible.

if it is, there are numerous problems with this idea

I don't think it would be possible
unless you had the client actually communicating to the server.
So random hack clients wouldn't be detectable since servers can't read
a player's computer files. It may not be possible at all.​

could only be done with cracked/shitty clients that send a plugin message or custom payload

and maybe some other clients if you abuse a 1.8 exploit
