Yes. Simply, yes.
I believe what he's saying is that we should fix what we know is broken before advertising.
Firstly, why would you advertise a broken product? That's not fair to the ad recipients and harms our image even more.
Moreover, if we expand while suffering from things we need to fix, we burden ourselves with the workload that all those new people bring before we've fixed what's broken, thus making it even more difficult to do both.
I agree we need to advertise, however, I'm entirely against doing so until we've gotten our shit together as an entity and can reasonably sustain that growth.
MCM's in a better spot right now than it has been in for years in my opinion, so as long as we can sustain this success I feel like advertising is something we can look into more for the future. The problem is just how difficult it is to advertise a platform like this considering we want to advertise to teenagers with an entrepreneurial spirit, but those users wouldn't likely join a minecraft website.
It's going to be tricky, but more thought and preparation will be put into site growth this year.
