I am an actual professional. I handle marketing for small game developers. Every developer that has hired me told me exactly what the job would consist of. That's how most real jobs work. As someone who has actually studied advertising and marketing the phrase "handle deals" means many things to me. I cannot read minds therefore I and anyone else reading do not know what type of marketing you are looking for.

The difference between your small game developers and a Minecraft server is a small game developer will have a more developed and advanced marketing strategy. With Minecraft, there's almost only one way to go when you have the numbers of $100 to $1000, and you surely know this.

The fact that the role that I want filled is that of a marketing manager, suggests that the specific details of a marketing plan would be the job of that staff member. I don't see what you're looking for. Those qualified for this role know all they need to know at this point.

I don't know whether you're trying to go for the pseudo-intellectual route by suggesting there's potential for Facebook ads, Twitter ads (neither of which would surely be referred to as a deal) or a small astroturfing campaign, or something of those sorts, but it's pretty clear to me of what the options are for advertising in Minecraft for several hundred dollars.
