Our domain is smp.tru.io and it's crossplay with dynmap (although it's broken atm because it was lagging the server, we plan to go with Bluemap in the future)

How would we go about advertising this server?

Hiring YouTubers to make a video or stream and then having an editor *psst signature* put clips together from them. Most YouTubers would upload it if each YouTuber had around 20 seconds of time on there resulting in an equal collaboration video and you can even use it as a trailer.
