Has anyone advertised on either of those platforms, before? Any luck?

I have a budget between $150 to $200 and was wondering if its worth paying people like $5, each, to post/promote a giveaway or poster of the server on their pages.

Also, Youtubers? Do they really work? I've tried contacting a few, and no lucky, yet. It doesn't seem worthwhile to pay a lot of small Youtubers. Again, anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks you,
Naze

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

I think it's worth it for youtube. Instagram is also good. I've done instagram too and gotten like $600 from a 5k account.

One big Youtuber or a few smaller ones?
Really? How did you promote it? Also, was it your account or did you pay someone?

Ah, how much did you pay the Youtubers? Thats pretty cool. I'm in contact with a few people on Instagram who get around 100 likes per post, how much do you think its worth paying them?
It's worth like $2 or $3, I sell shoutouts for 1 day(which gets around 200 likes) for $5

If your server doesn't have a Twitter then I highly recommend you make it one. Twitter is a wonderful tool to communicate updates to your community and also a great advertising platform.

When I say advertising, I mean hosting like giveaways on there. When my Factions server was up, we would tend to have a crate keys giveaway going or a small rank giveaway going. It would last a certain amount time or either end at a certain amount of retweets which generates a lot of buzz for your server as multiple people will see it. (Having a broadcast for the Twitter account and the current giveaway should help.)

Thanks, I'll do that! =D I'm kinda liking Instagram because of increased interactions, however, its mainly MCPE players on there :/

Instagram advertising didn't really do much to my playerbase at all!

Well it was like a shoutout. Someone with 10k followers. Got like 200+ likes and like 3 comments, put no one actually joined. The shoutout was permanent. That's just my experience from using Instagram to advertise.
