I think you may really need to change your wording. From this it sounds like the following is possible:

I have a playerbase of 10, I purchase this for $10 and get a playerbase of 20. I purchase this again for a playerbase of 40, I do it again for 80, 160, 320, 640, 1280.

I can get a constant 1.2k playerbase for just paying $70. Want a playerbase of 10,485,760 for just $200? Sounds legit.
