Make is so when you go on to the advertising section, it shows you for each type of advertisement when. The next available spot is available.

Doing so will make it easier for us to know when we will need money for the slot by, as well as we can plan to release an update etc right when we go to buy the advertisement.

If you disagree explain why :) (but this can't hurt anyone or anything so I don't see many reasons why other than man power needed to do this add on.)

Thanks,

This may be just a tad bit impossible considering users are able to extend their ads at any point.
Also, how would you go about factoring in pending ads submitted but not yet approved, or ads which have been approved but not yet paid for and might get canceled?

Have it so it displays when the current adds end. Then list number of pending ads.. As well as pending not approved.

So basically a countdown to when the slot would be empty with the current available variables? there's going to be SO MUCH confusion when it suddenly jumps from from "empty in 3 days form now" to "empty in 6 months from now" or some such. I can smell the outrage from here.

This is a good idea and is planned for the future in the ads manager, or at least to show you what position you are in the queue so you can roughly work out how soon you're going to get your ad.

I'll move this to pending, thanks for the suggestion.

This was unfortunately something we never got around to developing for XF1, and given the fact that we're not even going to have a queue for ads in our new XF2 bidding system this suggestion no longer holds much relevance.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion nonetheless.
