Advice for advertising a small server?

I have a new and small survival server. I'm looking into ways to advertise it. I currently have a budget of $500USD.

A few questions I have:

• Are there any good/cheaper vote sites to advertise on? I've been looking at lists like minestatus, best servers and so on.
• Are there any good discord ads?
• Is paying TikTokers worth it?
• YouTube seems to be successful at temporarily building a playerbase but when the YouTuber leaves so does most of the audience apparently. I've used YouTubers in the past [and usually had negative experiences; mainly slow delivery times and high views but no joins.] Would you consider YouTubers worth paying?
• Is Minebrowse's "highlight" worth it? I don't think their claims are legitimate [https://minebrowse.com/purchase-highlight]

I can get Discord ads done for you, add me on Discord, Marcel#0009, can also do social media creation, like shorts/tiktok for example.

Agreed that youtubers are not effective for advertising at all. Once they leave, the playerbase leave with them. Same thing with TikTokers

Minebrowse is something i have tried with my Minecraft server and it worked fairly well. It is a "budget" and "cheap" option so results were slower to show, but it was the only thing I used for one of my servers and I did start getting players from their ads. The amount I paid per player gained was more reasonable than many other services out there.
