I've been looking around here on mc-market and have seen a couple of posts on this topic, but I was looking to get some direct advice for myself here. I've been looking at this course: https://www.udemy.com/course/develop-minecraft-plugins-java-programming/ and have been looking at something called mineacademy: https://mineacademy.org/. Is either of these worthwhile for my goals? I'm more so looking to know the basics, and to be able to fix issues or adjust minor things with plugins and such, and possibly be able to create smaller plugins through java.

Hello,

I've been coding for almost 7 months now and I've learned everything through YouTube videos. I would recommend starting watching a YouTuber called VerveDev. It's very basic programming YouTube videos where you can learn about Listeners and Commands. When you've learned the basics of developing you can start watching some more advanced programming videos.
