Hello, everyone,

I am interested in selling my Oneblock server, which is currently live.
I've never done this before, so I'm trying to get a little intel on what to do and what not to do.
It's needed, unfortunately, it's mentally draining. From trying to make sure the server is financially running itself, to constantly worrying about the player count, and so much more.
I do not want to shut it down, as I have a few people in my community that personally really support the server and the work I've done so far.

What are some things I should know?

What are things I should and shouldn't do.

If anyone is interested in possibly purchasing this Oneblock Server, please do reach out. BladedCross#7997

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Have you thought about hiring a manager, or gathering a team which can do all the running of the server for you, paying them (x) amount instead of selling?

Yes you'll still check in on it and be present. However, having people manage the server for you and paying them, allows you to still make passive income off of the server

I've looked into this, but typically, I just end up attracting suspicious people.
I've tried to expand my staff team directly by offering opened applications to my community, unfortunately, people resign within the first month or month and a half of getting accepted onto the team. At this point, I would rather just sell the work i've done this far to someone who has more drive than I currently do to keep it running.

And as I mentioned, the server's pretty much barely getting by. I personally do not want to invest my personal money(which is highly limited) into something that's taking a mental toll on me.

Fair enough, I could always take a look if wanted but I see your point. If you are interested my discord is in my signature
