Advice for server

I want to start a server but I need some advice on

- How to get players
- How to keep players
- What grabs attention

I'm planning to start a factions server soon BTW

1) The most typical way to get players is via YouTube advertisements. There's tons of Advertising Managers who can help you contact YouTubers. They can record on your server, upload trailers, all of that stuff. You can also buy slots on server lists.

2) Keeping players is difficult if your server isn't fun. You want to setup daily incentives- Daily Rewards, etc. Have tons of features that you want your players to join to.

3) Unique features. Non-corrupt staff. Well setup server.

My advice is to not even start a server unless you have the necessary funding. So many people waste their time creating a server and never finish it because they realize half way through that they don't have enough money.
