I've achieved an increase of 20-30 players in my playerbase using project wonderful. You do need a pw banner and server features that will attract players as well as knowing how to correctly manage your bids. Another alternative is renting a .org slot for a few hours, I've heard that they can be successful depending on the server and banner.
