Advice on advertising my Minecraft Server List

Hello, I am the owner of MinecraftStatus.org I need some advice on advice or strategies on making my Minecraft Server List more popular with servers. Its been like 5 months and I am still not satisfied with how many servers are on there. I if someone can give me advice or some strategies for making it more popular, that would be great.

server list websites are over done and to easy to come by plus to make it more popular you need more than just listing servers as every other one out there.

Make the website not look like shit and people might eventually come. Also you really need to optimize it for search index optimizing or hire someone else to. You seem to have keywords, though I'm not going to audit for you and at the time of this reply the site has 0 sessions open, not even a robot online.

Good luck though, the server list market is absolutely tiny with about 10 websites that servers commonly use.

How would I optimize it better. Is there a tool I can use to do so?

I would approach some larger server owners and ask if they would add their server to the website.

And most likely you'd have to pay the server as well unless your website actually receives decent traffic.

Steps to improve:

1. Get a new "banner" aka the text used on top of this thread and on the website.
   
2. the background makes me puke. Make it a nice color with nice color schemes.
   This is INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT; STYLE = INTEREST.
3. Advertisement for your site? Improve everything Ive listed, and WHEN THATS DONE (NOT BEFORE)
   You either make a nice deal or pay a big server. (Very big) to use your list. This will get their voters to see your site and some of them are probably some server owners.
4. Cheating is allowed when the list is so small... The first eyecatch = first impression
   I see the banners quality of the site.. (Especially the highest ranked ones) Maybe give those with a actual decent banner a little cheating boost.
   Would not recommend doing this later on, just a little secret boost to make your list look better when its still early in developement..
5. Make the sponsored page available for people who are not signed in. I would want to see your website fully before I decide to register or not.
6. Look at other lists and get inspiration.
