Advice on how to get more players!!

Heyyy minecraft market members!

I recently launched my server about 24 hours ago and had a maximum of 7-8 players online at once! The only voting sites i used were pmc and msl. Is this a good start? I would like some advice on gaining and attracting more without spending any money! This is a skyblock server by the way.

I'm not sure if this quite what you want, but if you ever want to expand your community try out modded mc and attempt to get on an official slot for a mod pack!
