Advice on how to get more players!!

Heyyy minecraft market members!

I recently launched my server about 24 hours ago and had a maximum of 7-8 players online at once! The only voting sites i used were pmc and msl. Is this a good start? I would like some advice on gaining and attracting more without spending any money! This is a skyblock server by the way.

Where could I advertise as well? We have a few custom features so I guess thats why most keep coming back.

You could also use www.mcserverland.com and add your server there too. The more server list websites you add your server too, the more exposure you get! It's only $0.50 a day to feature your server.

People rent out their popular server slots and or places on voting site and server sites so your server gets seen and appears #1, #2, etc

yes like that, but the people say with the 2nd best spot on the site, may rent it out, so your server appears as #2 getting you tons of players
