Hey, I thought I’d make a post about avoiding scams since so many people have gotten scammed recently.
So there are some basic things to look out for.
for instance look at their email address. If it’s like [email protected] it’s probably either 1. Someone with an unverified account or 2. A scammer. Either way I wouldn’t deal with that user.
Also when sending F&F if it says the person won’t recieve for a couple days DO NOT pay them. Not only are they unverified but it’s probably a new account.
Also some commons sense is always good to have, does this user seem like they claim they are? If it says they are 30 on MCM but they don’t even have a verified PayPal then they probably don’t have good intentions.
Finally ask for their PayPal.me, and check their name and location, if it doesn’t line up with what they are saying then again don’t deal with them.
Loaning/Investments
I would avoid these whenever possible unless you absolutely trust the person because most people on here are poor like me without jobs trying to get extra money through unethical ways.
