High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

I never used PP, but it's made for video making while AE is made for advanced clip editing. I suppose PP would be better.

I've never used Premiere Pro but AE would be a good program for trailer too.

The thing is that I think PP is better because I don't know what AE would have extra that would benefit me (and PP is more like sony vegas :p)

I'd suggest Premiere for Editing and if you want to add simple text, after effects is made for motion graphics, animation and VFX (CGI) while Premiere is exactly made for editing and simple color correction.

Or, if you want you can use them both. After Effects for Text Effect and Premiere Pro for mixing the edits.

Use Premiere, Theres tons of free transition out there, "chungda's" preset are pretty cool.

- Trust me, I'm a student filmmaker :p

Not AE.

https://www.quora.com/Is-it-possibl...do-you-need-to-use-Adobe-Premiere-for-editing

Premiere is much more friendly in terms of editing, AE (By the name, "After Effects") literally explains what it does. Use AE for adding good text animation then use Dynamic Link between premiere and AE to easily do it.

You can use AE, but it will take much more time and you'll get frustrated. Also AE is not really friendly for bulk editing.

This is where you add in all your cool text animations, you make unique and custom lighting, effects, rotations
I think you can do all that in PP. You can animate text and do transitions, too.
