I have a 32GB DDR3 dedicated Xeon E3-1290v2, 3.7Ghz, (Turbo 4.1Ghz), 4c / 8t.
I am running paper 1.18.2 (Skyblock), waterfall (latest), and paper 1.12.2 (Lobby).
the waterfall has been tested with "decent" bot attacks and got optimized plugins as well and a decent anti-bot system in place. So am pretty confident that it is equipped for the task.
The lobby is without players running less than a GB without any players with 2 restarts scheduled and about 22 plugins. (Most plugins are permission, bridge plugins, etc, with a core for basics (hologram and all that fun little extra), and a simple parkour plugin. The plugins are no ram suckers and haven't found any memory leaks yet so should be pretty well-optimized plugins.
The lobby currently runs on 3 GB, got has more to spare if needed, or can add multiple lobbies if needed. What's the cap on this server for players?
My skyblock is a bit more resource-heavy with and got 12 GB ram, with 60 plugins, the heavy plugins would be mythic mobs (mostly for boss battles on the islands), skyblock core, jobs plugin, server core, a PVP world, a quest world, skyblock world (including nether and end worlds per island). The server got a decent amount of smaller "premium" and custom-made plugins, that are above average in optimization so shouldn't be any major issues there and I can't see any trouble in timings yet.
From both my servers, the most resource-heavy plugin seems to be citizens (obviously when no players are online).
Both paper and bukkit settings have been set to optimize and perform better than default so should be pretty good.
Need any more information let me know, but what's the cap on the server(s) and total?
I have more RAM to spare (as you can easily figure out with simple maths) but wanted to see if I can make maybe another server as well? that's why I wanted to know if I should add more ram to the current servers before I start another one.
