There are already 100's of resellers out there. What makes yours any diffrent from the countless that has lasted no more than a month?

Hosting compaines dont just make money. It takes time to build up rep, and a customer base. Dont expect to make any profits for a good 2 months. Unless you have money to fall back on, its pointless making one.

Im going to start a host in a few months (thought why not)

Anyhow, if we set unique features aside, and just focus on the hosting part.

Since i own my hardware. I can offer hosting on a dedicated server with 128GB DDR3 RAM, 2, octacore CPU's at 3GHz and high speed RAID 10 SSD storage. And I only pay $70 a month. You would be lucky to get a single quad core, 64GB RAM, and a HDD for that. How would you compete with a host like that? I could offer hosting far cheaper, far better. While still making more profit that you would.

Not another host thats going to spend $100 on their company. smh. If you want to get at least a smudge close to competitors you are gonna need $1000 (of course if you rent hardware). Everyone wants to make a host they dont even understand the basics of what it takes. You need to a unique business model, lots of money, and "I'm going along with my plan and stick with it" attitude. No hate but I know you will fail with $100. I suggest working for some companies, learning a little bit about linux and different softwares, and of course gain some more reputation. I hope you've learned something.

Not 10% uptime we aim for 99% uptime
