Who we are AkumaMC is a high-performance network (Prison/Skyblock) with a massive, active community. We are currently experiencing a period of rapid growth and expansion. To keep up with our aggressive roadmap and increasing player counts, we need to expand our engineering team with fresh talent.

What we are looking for We aren't interested in a resume filled with dead servers. We don't care if you've been coding for 6 months or 6 years. We care about your logic.

We are looking for someone with a strong grasp of Computer Science fundamentals. We need efficient, scalable code. You should know:

  • Data Structures & Algorithms: You know exactly when to use a HashMap vs. a LinkedList, and you understand Big O notation well enough to know why your code is impactful.
  • Optimization Logic: How to handle concurrency, async tasks, and high-volume data without killing the main thread.
  • Spigot/Paper API: (Obviously required).
  • Packet/NMS knowledge: A huge bonus, but not required if you have the brain for it.
AI & Modern Tools (Big Plus) We value efficiency. If you know how to leverage AI tools (Copilot, GPT, etc.) to optimize workflows, refactor boilerplate, or debug faster, we view that as a massive asset. We aren't looking for copy-pasters, but we are looking for developers who use every tool available to ship high-quality code faster.

We are looking for problem solvers, not just people who can memorize an API.

Payment & Process This is a well-paid position. We have the budget for talent, and we reward good work.
  • Rates: Discussed privately.
  • NDA: You will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement before we discuss specific rates or internal architecture. This protects both our proprietary data and your privacy.
The Interview We don't hire off applications alone. If your portfolio looks promising, there will be a technical voice interview. We will talk through code, discuss logic, and test your understanding of the concepts mentioned above.
