I'm looking to get album art done for my bands new album "New Tides Etch Mysterious Lines"
My idea for the artwork is to have a made up terrain that features the over view of a river valley. I would like to have the river connect to the ocean somewhere and In the middle of the art I want to have a version of our bands logo created by the landscape. I want the logo to pop but I also want it to blend, and I want it to look like its just part of the terrain. My original idea was to do the outline of it created by the river and have the facial features created by other natural elements (mountains, lakes, canyons, etc).
I'm looking to see YOUR creativity shine in this. Use the references as references to make something one of a kind. If you want to change the perspective, awesome! Hell if you want to open up like Unity3D or something and build a AAA realistic terrain.
I have a rough sketch I made to get some ideas from. Along with it are some art styles I like.
