Minecraft Gift Code/Prepaid Card Scams

So, recently offsite I was talking to this seller who was selling Minecraft gift codes at a relatively cheap price. It seemed too good to be true and I discovered it is. Most people would appraise a gift code at around $9-16. This is because it has a guaranteed clean history and you get a TID.

Now, here's the scam:
When you use a giftcode, thee giftcode itself is your TID. The seller I was going to buy from would save the giftcode, and later sell the "TID" for someone else to "recover" the account.

So, if a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is!

Only buy giftcodes from trusted users!​

Nope. When there's multiple people, the account is either permanently locked or you need to know where/how the code was originally purchased.

If there is a gift code reseller they 100% got them from unmigrated profiles so if you're the person who redeemed it it's pretty easy to recover... and you skipped my first question. What's the person's Skype

I'm not gonna give it out since I don't want them getting spammed. I caught them and they have been dealt with on the site they were scamming on.

Because I don't want anyone coming on here doing it. It's just a community warning that I've seen this scam.

And there are also legit gift code sellers so unless you tell us this dudes Skype this is pretty useless tbh
