Allow all users to use Live PMs

So, we all know there is an occasional problem with impersonators on Skype. Once the toggle is completed, I think all users should be able to use live PMs so that Skype can be eliminated. This would prevent faked logs, and prevent impersonators.

This is a Supreme feature for a reason. In that case we should just hand over all Supreme features to regular members.

BeBosny it's one feature over like 50, it's not a huge deal... It's a real pain refreshing the page like 50 time, I 110% think this should become a feature for all.

for this precise reason, i think this should be implemented. anyways, maybe change the title so its Premium+ not all members since thats what this thread is focusing on.

The live PM system work over websockets. A websocket is basically a constant live connection to the webserver. We already deal with 2000 PHP requests/second, handing out this feature would most likely increase server load heavily which is not something we need right now. Besides, Cloudflare started restricting plans on their websocket connections recently, I'm not sure what freedom we have when it comes to that.

Premium already has features. I don't think it'd be wise to remove something from the more expensive rank.

If there was something like "MCM Communicate" which is like Skype but you have to login with your MCM account that would be awesome, but thats prob impossible

Of course, as always, all of the MCM members (including lots of supremes!) agree, but the staff says no. I thought the community was running it, you would execute things we wanted to see? Live PMs for all would eliminate impersonators and faked logs.

I don't understand why you would want everyone to have this. It's obviously server intensive if it's giving you live updates. Usually when I'm waiting for a PM, I'm browsing other websites. It'll show that I have a new alert on the favicon and go back to mc market and check my PMs or alerts. I'm not sure if everyone including regular members have that though.
