I think some moderation will be needed so that it doesn't get into a cluster fuck but the general rule of thumb should be that we can talk about controversial topics including

LGBTQ+ and Orientation
Political Standpoint
Abortion
Guns
Et cetera

This is less of a minecraft forum as it used to be. I literally come on here only to talk to people and occasionally buy/sell items that aren't related to MC. I think some broadening is needed

The n word one is a shit post joke, the second one is actually locked by Mick, and I’m honestly surprised the gay one isn’t locked.

I think just in general the staff should probably stop censoring posts that remain civil and aren’t violating any rules. Locking threads because there’s a possibility that someone might say something offensive is a bit ridiculous.

While we do try to divert discussions away from these controversial topics, we don't have any rules against their discussion. We are a minecraft website, and with that our userbase is mainly teenagers who don't actually contribute seriously towards discussions like this and instead just break our anti-harassment and shitposting rules, so threads are locked.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion.
