Just the title, this should be super easy to implement and I think it'll make leaving rep leagues easier. It can only cause good, in my eyes at least.

Not just Imgur, they should set it up so any direct link to an image gets saved to the server, and then attached to the rep.

Does that actually work with the "upload a file" button?
As long as you are pasting in the direct image link, i.imgur.com/asdf.png it will work. It will work for any site, if I understand it correctly, your computer just downloads the file via the Internet then uploads it that way. I think the file is saved as a TEMP file so it doesn't actually take up that much space on your computer if thats a concern for you. I could be wrong though

Yes. I believe it must be the direct image link(.png, .gif, etc).

As others have said, this is something that we have planned and likely will be introducing in our migration to XF2.

As this is already pending, I'll move this to denied. Thanks for the suggestion.
