Okay,

Service teams post too many posts considering they're all the same just want to get it across that they provide for different sections.

My suggestion is that there should be a option to choose where they want to post it and then have the one thread for all of them. It makes the up threads easier and it makes it cleaner.

Thanks.

Interesting idea. With proper restrictions, this could be utilized effectively.

I’m thinking a checkbox on the thread creation page:
“My thread offers services belonging in multiple categories”, which, when checked, will allow a multi-select option, displaying the other service nodes.

Similar for the products section.
“My thread offers products belonging to categories”, which, when checked, will allow a multi-select option, displaying the other product nodes.

No such check box for threads outside products/services.

I’m on board. It makes keeping discussion about a service/product contained within a single thread while ensuring that the people who would like to be able to find it are able to find it in the place that they’re looking for it.

Great! I think the only problem though is the response time from the staff. Not saying anything to offend you guys. For now it'll be fine but let's hope for MCM to recruit more people.

In theory I would be in support of this idea, but in practice that means one thread that needs to well represent my brand in each of the sections, which is why I would be much more inclined to stick to our current system rather than the minor inconvenience of adapting the threads to each section.

Well, people could have the option to do it. It wouldn’t be a requirement really just something to make life easier and cleaner.

If you're a team and you offer 10 different services, it doesn't make sense to be advertising those 10 services in the 10 forums since only 1 is going to be relevant to the forum it's been posted in. Creating separate threads for your different services in their relevant forum means that you will be only advertising a relevant service, which is far more intuitive and easy for finding clients. Plus, it doesn't require custom development.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion.
