Allow resource authors to accept bitcoin/crypto as purchase option

Hey,

It would be pretty convenient and useful to be able to accept payments via cryptos for resources, especially if either a buyer or seller don't have a PayPal account or simply prefer crypto. There are many free crypto gateway processors out there, and there aren't really any downsides that I can think of at least in allowing sellers to accept alternate payment options.

side note: another potential idea would be to allow resource authors to set a custom price/discount on a certain payment method to say, account for fees or encourage buyers to use their preferred gateway. making this gateway only an option for premium+ users could also be an option.

As far as I know this cannot be done because Xenforo’s resource add-on does not allow this.

Modifications can be made and that isn't really grounds to disagree with a suggestion. Do you see any potential issues with the suggestion?

They've already denied such suggestions in the past and will continue to do so because mick doesn't like crypto or it's volatility (or something along those lines). These suggestions are unrelated and it is possible to allow vendors to accept crypto without MCM having to "hold" or potentially be at risk as a result.

I'll move this to pending for further consideration. We definitely won't be adding bitcoin to our XF1 site, but after we migrate over we might end up deciding to give resource authors that option.

I'll have to discuss it with Justis some more.
