Title says it all.

Why do I feel this is necessary? Some posts are PSA-s to the community (for example, when Chearful and Ninja1 announced that their sniper had been compromised). Those posts should be near the top so that users can be alerted about important information throughout the community.

Additionally, the general discussion section has a lot of shit-posts Kappa

But, then again, that is why it's the GENERAL discussion section! So, shit posting can't really be banned.

I can't possibly think of a reason as to why this shouldn't be added. All the shop sections have it.

I can. Services have it's own section. If we allow this, it will encourage people to post their services in the general discussion section for visibility which is the wrong section.

And no, I'm not going to allow a sticky so people can 'advertise' their compromised sniper.

A decent website that has members registered has their emails and informs them about stuff like data breaches via a mail. In fact, in some countries/states (like mine) sites are legally obliged to inform its users about data breaches.
