The old theme is gone according to mick. They POSSIBLY have it on file somewhere, which I do doubt. However while I'd like the option to as well learning to like this new 'customization' theme shouldn't be too back

There is no way in all holies of fuck Mick (and his dad) would dump an asset like that. If he did, I think we need to seriously evaluate his mental health. Did the thought never cross his mind "Oh shit what if people (who are paying me $25 for supreme upgrades, by the way) don't like it?

I mean yeah, I can agree BUT ALMOST* everyone has been fine with the new theme change. In the future it'd be better IMO to run a poll or something but personally I like the theme, tho in the site of an unbiased user it could go both ways.

Or to prevent this argument, let's just host both themes? It'll take up a bit more space on the dedi, but unless Mick needs that space for gay porn, who cares?

Again, I'm sure they have it on file somewhere. I'm not mick or his team so idk how the fuck they manage it but nonetheless, learning to like* the new theme is gonna need to be done unless they have the old theme on file. Mick in the chat said the old theme is gone, which can mean several things. Deleted, just removed from the dedi or idk sold for crack (not being serious) but nonetheless whatever is done is done.

So what I gathered from Mick is that this is a new plugin for custom themes commissioned by MCM. That means the stock themes are not directly compatible with it.
However, the current dark theme needs some work.
For one, tone down the saturation/lightness of thread titles, it's painfully bright. Also give it the light blueish color I recall it having before.
For another, tone UP the saturation/lightness of text, it is more difficult to read than previously.
Also, I dislike the darker box around the rep, rank and username compared to the other sections of the user card for posts. Make that all 1 color again, please.
Also, make the scrollbars less bright, you don't need a scrollbar to draw more attention than your user card.
Mcmarket thread links in SB should not be bright white, but more greyish-blue like in the past.
Further suggestions will probably arrive.

Apart from that, I believe this update was implemented to make it possible to add more themes in the future with relative ease, which I have seen a lot of suggestions for. So it's not as bad as you all believe.
This current design just needs a crapload of small changes to become good enough to replace old Dark Theme.
