I think it's a good idea to allow it. Hell, most of mc-m is full of corrupt scammers that do it under a different alias. The selling of cracked accounts is really a business. It may be wrong, but also all of the Spotify account premiums, the sale of most iHCF cores aren't authorized either. Also all of the steam keys that are sold are generated.

Staff only respond to a thread that is reported, and still then months past. It's just slipping through the cracks at this point.

Same as everyone else. It’s unethical, it’s a waste of time for McM staff and in general shouldn’t be encouraged.
You also don’t need to ask for written explanations from everyone that disagrees to discourage voting.

Any account obtained by cracking is not allowed to be sold.
The difference of alternate accounts and semi/OGs is that with alt accounts, you can prove they are cracked (unless someone is buying accounts for $26 to sell at $0.05 (/s)). Semis/OGs can't really be proven to be cracked (Yes, we know majority are) but, can't be proved.

Minecraft accounts being sold has the consequence that unfortunately cracked accounts are sold on the site, but we do always try to prevent any accounts that have been stolen or hacked from being sold on the site.

For the future of MC-Market I want to move away from any activities that could potentially be blackhat, but that would require removing minecraft accounts which probably won't be happening unless something major changes.
