Stealing is kinda irrelevant. It's weird to assume unmigrated = stolen, migrated = not stolen- Low morality in stealing others accounts
Buyer's problem. Buyer asks for email address with account too. Then they can't.- They can get taken back
They are very secure, I'd say more secure than normal accounts if you can get the email associated with them, too. Additionally, if it isn't a cracked/stolen account (against the rules), what's there to be afraid of?- They aren't secure
Oh, I know you are. I'm just quoting them and replying to the points Mick made. Sounds like some lousy excuse copied from the previous excuse to not have to unban them.I am giving the DIRECT reply from Mick. I could care less if they're sold here.
-Anthony RAfter Marc made his statements about MC-Market on his twitter, he made an account here, I contacted him asking him what Mojangs policy is on stolen accounts and stating we wouldn't allow the same of directly identifiable stolen accounts (of course what you are saying is true, the accounts are at some point stolen, but i'm referring to unmigrated accounts and accounts similar that we know are stolen as let's be honest, owns a legit unmigrated? There are a few but not that many selling them on MCM usually they migrate them first)
I'd need to comb through his twitter to find the Tweets about MCM, you will remember one that was like 'i'm getting sick of this site now'.
Anyway, this is marc just literally pasting part of their policy in which shows us in direct violation of their policy (which we already knew obviously)https://gyazo.com/ed31aa744d063d8294c7a60e1ab41882
He had just signed up for Mc-Market just before he emailed me. He basically ignored me after that, and kept saying stuff in shoutbox, (if i really need to go through the logs I will try) about us and stolen accounts.
We decided to just take away his main bullet which is stolen accounts.
I'm not saying we acted in the best way possible, my aim is not even to prove we did, just to show you why we made these decisions (right or wrong).
That's a legitimate reason, but Mojang hates account sales in general and Marc_IRL hates this site for "seems packed with a bunch of pre-teens" (was his exact words, or something like that). I mean, since when has MCM cared about having a good reputation. If they did, they wouldn't use hack forums as role models (again, the definition of the site is in the site's wiki...)When I asked about this, this is what I was told:
