Fawks does this to me.so basically there are users like wavy who likes to comment on each thread I make and trash I’m sick of users and stopping them from trashing my thread, I’d love a way where you can block users from commenting
The reason for the decline was regarding an unblock appeal system. This has been suggested and declined:

Members shouldn't HAVE to use the report feature at all. This is a bit beyond the scope of the suggestion, but I'm arguing that MCM should aim to prevent abusive behavior instead of just reacting to it. That would help solve both problems. This was Mick's response:
People need to start utilizing the report feature, that is the whole point of a report feature so people can report those violating a rule (or rules).
Regardless that Mick said that the unblock feature is a waste of staffs time, he also pointed out that people can report posts. There is no reason to add an entire block feature, let alone an unblock one.
This can and will be abused by people who just want to hide things.
People are too happy with suggesting things instead of utilizing the features on MCM.
It is possible. XenForo supports this out of the box. Tick a permission to enable it.not possible, i mean but most of the shit is true

Sounds good in theory, but in practice, it is basically infeasible.Members shouldn't HAVE to use the report feature at all. This is a bit beyond the scope of the suggestion, but I'm arguing that MCM should aim to prevent abusive behavior instead of just reacting to it. That would help solve both problems.
