If you have more than one picture, you have to upload them one by one if you want them to be in order because you are unable to re-arrange them after you upload them. This is a tedious task.

People may be deterred to uploading evidence in which the images are in order due to this because it is tedious. Allowing us to re-arrange the images may allow for users who need to upload a conversation so people can view the evidence with ease.

You don't necessarily have to do it one by one. You are able to upload multiple files at once by holding CTRL and selecting your files. Let's say we have image1, image2, and image3. When I click upload and I select image1 first, then hold CTRL and select image2 and image3, the upload process will go as "image3, image2, image1". Image3 will upload first as it was the last to be selected. That means you'll need to select your last image first and work your way up to your first image. Unfortunately, not everyone knows about this and it can be annoying if you missclick so having the ability to rearrange uploaded files on the site would be very useful for people who aren't very tech savvy or know about this. I'm not sure if there's already a XF add-on for this but if someone does know one, feel free to link it for Mick if he chooses to accept this suggestion.

It doesn't actually work like that when you need to add more images into your reputation. The image goes to the top and you're unable to re-arrange them, thus making you having to remove each image and re-add them.

It isn't entirely plausible to expect users to keep the evidence on their device indefinitely so re-arranging is something I feel should be added.

Implementing this will be less time-consuming for users adding more images to their reputation. I am not sure how much developmental work this requires though so I am not sure if it would be worth the development just for something to help users out when adding images to reputation.

Back about a year ago we introduced some pretty radical changes to the way that we handle reputation. We made all reputation left by banned members be marked as uncounted in your reputation totals and disabled the reporting functionality to reduce abuse and targeted. The changes that we made were certainly controversial at the time, but looking back I'm a firm believer that the changes we made back then were the best that we could have made.

Our reputation system is very far from being perfect in its current state, and we fully recognise that. Since it's introduction we've changed many policies and spent countless hours developing new custom systems, such as disputing feedback.

At the moment we aren't planning to do any more development for our site until we can migrate to XF2. We're also not going to be making any changes to our policies surrounding reputation. Our system is stable at the moment, and making a change now when we're going to be redeveloping everything shortly isn't beneficial. Perhaps once we move to XF2 and have fixed all the bugs that come with that and have more time for some new development and to consider the impact that instituting new policies will result in.

Until then, I'll move this to denied. Once we migrate to XF2 if you feel that this is still relevant please create a new suggestion thread and we can look into it once again. Thank you to everyone for your support and criticism of our systems, it is definitely the best way for us to improve.

Thank you,
