Amazing Places You Wish You Could Visit

The world is full of some crazy and awe-inspiring places. What are some that you'd love to visit and see for yourself?

I personally would love to visit Green Lake in Austria. It's a park that gets flooded with snowmelt (water runoff from melting snow) during the summer. At mid May till June you can scuba dive in the park and see grass, trees, and even park benches completely submerged underwater.

That's really cool! This is a great idea for a thread! ^_^

The place I would most like to go is Akibahara! This is the City of Dreams, and in Japanese it translates into literally "Anime Friendly Paradise". ^_^

Sadly I can never go to Akibahara because I am a Gaijin (this is the Japanese word for "Wide-Eyed White People") so my dream of visiting this paradise will never come to fruition! I can only stare in awe of what this place is!
