man you're insanely lucky.I think the 3080 would be be better. I already got like 5 2070's for free last year don't ask how or why.
which issues has been reported?Nvidia but get the 2070, 3080 has been reported to have a lot of issues
A lot of blue screens and crashes for computers running on any OS. It's a hardware issue that NVIDIA has cut corners and subsequently have manufactured and sold corrupt GPUs - hence why people are saying this is a terrible launch and may even be the worst one yet.which issues has been reported?
AMD makes GPUs aswell lmaoAmd is a CPU Nvidia is a GPU i have Nvidia and AMD and its very fast!
I doubt I'll have much time to wait for 3rd party reviews, considering how fast the RTX cards were sold out. I want to get one before these sell out, instead of having to wait for a couple months. Both GPUs are going to have issues on launch. Wait for AMD launch and for 3rd party reviews then get the one that gives a better bang for your buck. Remember that an AMD GPU pairs better with an AMD CPU than Intel. And Intel pairs better with NVIDIA. So if you already have your cpu you might wanna keep that in mind because the performance difference is noticeable, though not large.
Tbh even a 2070 is good enough for most games, AMD isn't going to lie about their performance (they legally can't either but there's ways around that) so I doubt you'll lose out on much if you just instantly buy one before reviews come out. Raytracing is going to suck on AMD though just incase you wanna do that but everything should be pretty even.I doubt I'll have much time to wait for 3rd party reviews, considering how fast the RTX cards were sold out. I've lost most of my gaming motivation after I queued up for the 3080 and expected it to come this week. Now I just really want an upgrade tbh.
