This is far from that, the most recent chips prove thatIntel, cause I've always stuck with it. No point changing up for me. This is same as the iPhone vs Android, it's personal preferences.
The old AMD's are beyond crap and the old intel's are very efficient, however, now, the new AMD's are very good and the new intels, are also very good, but not better then AMD anymore, at least for gaming no.Amd vs intel, what do you prefer?
I'm fairly sure AMD currently dominates the entire price range ($80-$500) currently while Intel struggles to get to 10nm outside of low power laptop chips. AMD especially dominates the budget end with 1st gen 1600s still going for $80-100 and the 2600 going for $140. The used market is also going strong still. The only exclusion is if you're purely gaming then games that prefer a higher single core clock speed can net you ~20 more fps on some titles but I'd argue that it doesn't make sense to go with Intel even then as their 9000 parts mostly lack hyperthreading (I assume you were referring to the 9400f for low end) which hurts both 0.1% and 1% lows, even the higher end chips (9700/9900) that do are vulnerable to security risks which may or may not have been patched by now, I'm not too up to date on that as AMD user. The rumored 3500 chip (6c/6t) would also undercut the 9400f if its made available to consumers by offering better price for similar enough performance.AMD for the new stuff, if you're going for a lower-end build Intel is the way to go
~didnt read your entire post sorry if you said something about this~snip
I’ve heard the new AMDs are good but just didn’t get into it.This is far from that, the most recent chips prove that
