Hello,

I'm Injury, the founder of Amicus. Amicus is an upcoming server that features classic PvP gamemodes you cherish and love, such as FFA, KitPvP, 1v1 and TDM. We're currently in the stage of Investments, and we need funding. Please visit our investment thread if you wish to help fund us.

A Drug, Prison, Sky-Block, Sky-Wars, U.H.C., Creative, OP-Faction,and Kit-P.V.P. network. I played on their server for over a year before I intended on applying for the staff team. I applied and made sure they couldn’t resist adding me to their team. I spent a good 2 hours making my application, go over it, editing, and editing the edits, I made sure they picked me. Eventually, I was accepted and made sure to fulfill my duties as a staff member on their server. I was soon promoted to Mod, Peaceful-Mod then the Manager of the U.H.C. server. My job on the U.H.C. server was to post matches, make sure no one is hacking, and look for ways to better my server and make sure everyone joined to have a pleasant and fun time. Eventually, I was promoted to Assistant Staff-Manager. My job there was to look over the Helpers/Mods on all server and make sure they’re accomplishing their tasks and to accept/deny staff applications on the forums. Eventually, after 3 months of doing this, I resigned.
Why do you want to be a staff member?:
I think I would gain experience and make new friends. I think I could better myself as a staff member for future jobs and this job as well as projects. I could join a seemingly stable and friendly community and enjoy my time and make sure other enjoy their time too. I can promise you, you will not regret adding me to your staff team!
I think I really help better the community and be a great staff member. I believe to be a great staff member you need to develop a positive relationship with the community. Do things like talk to the players, don't be to be invisible to the community, and help any and all players I can. When players see staff talking to them or other players and helping out a lot, they feel like the staff team is friendly, efficient and mature. A good staff team means players feel welcomed! I remember when I first applied for staff on a server about 4 years ago, I did not think of the commands, but of the respect you gain (and lose). I remember when I applied, I did it because I thought it would be a fun, interesting, and even educational experience. Sure we all like the commands and cool forum tag. I was right, I loved it and continue to love it. I hope to bring everything that I have learned to your server.
Both in game jobs, in game, and in real life, I put great effort into what I do, I have very good grades, great friends, and I spend time on cool projects other people could just call a "waste of time". As a staff member on servers, I am on whenever possible, if I get a job I do until it's done and then go back and make sure it is done really well. I don't do any jobs "halfheartedly".
What qualities can you bring to Amicus as a staff member?:
I can bring leadership. I always strive to be a good role-model to staff members and players. I set goals and achieve them so other people can see that I am fulfilling my job(s) as a staff member and hope that it inspires them to do the same.
Have you ever been banned on a server?:
Well, yes, many servers before. Although some for stupid reasons, I look back at those bans as something I can learn from.

There are a few reasons I feel like I would deserve a staff position on your server. One being that you would gain an experienced and well educated player on the rules and the responsibilities of a staff member. I would actually like to contribute to a server that I think has a shot at making it big, and I would be delighted to help you achieve such a goal, as I help the community and strive to be my best in whatever staff role I take on. Other reasons that I feel I would deserve this role are things like the various ranges of things I can help you with, such as building, over achieving in my tasks that I am instructed to perform, and overall helping the community in anyway humanly possible, whether it be the rules, confusion about the server and the way its plugins function, or just being a kind person to people. Realizing that all servers have a specific set of rules and guidelines to all staff as I feel this is an important first step in starting out my first days on a server as a staff member, I would take extra time to analyze them and perfect knowing them by heart. Depending on what type of punishment system you guys have, I would also learn how to deal with rule breakers, and how to react to them in situations like; Fights, Hacking Accusations, Vulgarity in chat, as well as racism (if this is a rule you enforce).​

I have never heard of Avicus. I just googled them and check it out. We didn't steal their name in any way, as "Amicus" is Latin for "friend", which is where I got it from. I understand we may get hate for similar names, but I'm sure with a brief explanation it will all work out.
