$50 is nothing..
I assume that you don't have the slightest clue when it comes to development. Since you obviously don't, you can't call someone a fraud, if anyone's trying to rip off someone it'd be you.
Custom plugins are not cheap my friend, idk why you think 50$ is expensive for a fully customisable plugin, I think that is cheap.
Also just because you don't like someones price is not a good reason to just block someone lol, tel them your issue, they might be-able to compromise/come to an agreement, this just shows immaturity and little knowledge of the market.
If you don't understand that paying more for a products means you are in the long run going to receive a better product then I am sorry but i don't know how to help you. I think you should use your brain a little more, and listen to people that have more experience/knowledge than you. For instance I vouch for Norska, even tho I have never used any plugin or had him make me any he is always polite, gives valid information on threads and tries to give you a quality product, in my eyes that is what you should be looking for when searching for a developer. If you are only paying 10$ for a fully custom plugin then I highly doubt the quality of the service or the product will be anywhere near the same level.

Because the plugin is open source, developers should give you a price depending on the work to be done (fixes, changes, additions), it being open source does not mean we know how to work with it, we have to take an effort to learn the codebase, which is sometimes inefficient and we end up fixing more code more than what we were hired for, which costs time and money.
So if the plugin is open source or not, it is not relevant, the relevant thing is that everything has a price and the problem of this forum is that people underestimate the developers and anyone who does a service, believing that already having a base the work is easier to do everything, which is sometimes just the opposite.
