Animals! :D

Hey everyone! Sorry for the very informal message, but I am wondering if there are any Developers that know how to code a new animal into Minecraft? Or at least my server... If there is any way I can get other animals on my server without players having to have a mod to join the server, I would love any feedback..

This is not technically possible as using bukkit/spigot nothing new can actually be added into the game.

However in theory it can be done using ItemStands and using existing blocks to create what looks like an animal (check MCCentrals store for examples of this).

A friend of mine did actually create the plugin they use for the custom animals, but would probably be needing to pay a developer alot of money to get this done.

The closest you'll get is using MythicMobs, along with Miniature pets.
MythicMobs and Miniature Pets have worked together to allow this sort of stuff.

MPet + MM is not yet fixed completely and it isn't high priority on the developer's list. However a sorta buggy version can be configured with the two and RebelKnox can just wait for a while or pay the developer to rush the fix asap.
