Domains come with WhoIsGuard subscribtion free and you can also purchase PermiumDNS for an extra $1. These prices are almost half the prices of NameCheap.. but I purchased from there.

I bought something then had it refunded as i upgraded, i have around $700 in credit. .com is $6, + $1 positive ssl for the first year.

for a server domain, no. For a minecraft website domain, yes.
