i've got a few for you! i had the same problem but with larger ideas, maybe you could do like a Spectator mode plugin? i was working on some of these until i got busy with commissions, but i'll list you ideas..
Spectator mode:
desc: once a player dies put them in spectator mode with an item in hand that they'll be able to teleport to others by selecting a head in a GUI until a configurable timer runs out, once it runs out put them to survival mode and tp them to spawn.
DeathBan:
Bans a player when they die for a configurable amount of time and they'll be able to have "Tokens" or "Lives" and once their lives runs out they get banned.
if you don't do these i may have to do them

Something like that yea.
I would pay for that pet plugin. Very good idea. I am working on a rpg server right now and that would be epic.
