Don't ever force something that won't be used, listen to the players and see what they actually want rather than forcing something that you want.

Partner with a fairly-big discord server, maybe pay them if you have to.

Let me give you a few thoughts and tips:

➽ Listen to your players and always look at what suggestions/features they want to be implemented
- There is no point developing a KitPvP server if the current community that you have don't even want one

➽ Advertisement is something big that most starting servers struggle with.
- Get in contact with different Large network owners and see how they first started. Don't start your server without an advertisement plan.

Make sure that you develop a steady playerbase on which you can later expand. They will pretty much decide how your community feels to newcomers.
