The whole downtime was a joke, they say they added stuff but nothing has changed

It was a XenForo update. (Or in general terms, an update of the forum software (the entire site really) that MCM uses).

The update shouldn'the have taken long at all considering it was probably mostly just bug fixes of the software, etc. However, as K3 has posted, the site was apparently also transferring hosting and having some issues with doing so.

This is still not excuse for being down for three days. But it's nothing that you can see and it's a lot of back end work. So apprecite it and the work that has been done behind the scenes.

If you read lol, they turned off cloudflare when updating, and their backend IP was leaked. That is why they were getting ddosed a bunch.

According to twitter, they admitted to it. It's not speculation. It happened due to a mistake. It's easy to leak an ip if you're not paying attention to the little details. Don't worry. It's all good now. Let's drop the silly arguments.
